For our first time at the Time Existence Space 2025 exhibition in Venice, we tackled a question that’s both fun and urgent: What if a historic landmark like Palazzo Bembo had to adapt to a hot, humid climate, much like our home city of Bangkok? Our proposal is an attempt to explore how a centuries-old structure can stay naturally cool and connect with its surroundings.
In 2021, we participated in the Kaira Looro Competition with ENTYRE—a proposal for a Women’s House that sought to support empowerment through community-based program design. Centered on the innovative reuse of car tyres, ENTYRE attempted to transform waste into structure, exploring a clear and accessible architecture rooted in local materials and practices.
Last week, our 2017 Half-House project in Chiang Mai was hit hard by severe flooding—one of the worst I’ve seen as a local. As we reconsider its redesign, we’re confronting a larger question: how can we adapt to a future where flooding is a reality?
In collaboration with architectural photographer Phos, we explored the second-hand wood trade in Ban Thi District, Lamphun. Among stacks of reclaimed materials, a mixed set of turned wooden spindles caught our eye—each bearing marks of time, weather, and use. Our joint project, Woodwork Chronicles: From Past to Present, documents the quiet beauty and layered histories of these reclaimed elements, celebrating their potential for new life in contemporary design.
